Title: 'Power in The Blood'

1.

There's power in the

Blood of Christ-Jesus,

When looking at that

Which still puzzles us.

2.

His blood cancels out

All debt from sin.

Every shadow that once

Lay hidden within.

3.

It clears our minds

Of needless doubt.

Availing us to

Wipe this out .

4.

It cleanses pure

Our guilty conscience,

Maturing us from

Spiritual adolescence.

5.

It washes us

Completely clean,

It keeps our minds

And souls serene.

6.

On account of

Christ's redeeming blood,

All tears combine

To make a heavenly flood.

7.

By the sacrifice

Of Jesus flesh,

In sin we are

 No longer enmeshed.

8.

Our spirits all 

Through Christ made even!

Our every transgression

 Now forgiven.

9.

Hail to the Holy

 Most merciful king

It cost our

Dear Lord everything.

10.

For us He went

To such great pains.

Shed the very blood

 Running through His veins.

11.

Even though we were

So morally flawed

He granted our

Unhindered access to God.

12.

Now we can confidently

Stay close to the Lord;

Not hide from Him

Behind a fake facade.

13.

With requests to God

We can now approach

Without condemnation

Or harsh reproach.

14.

Under the precious

Blood-of-Christ

We can bask and bathe

 In complete assurance

Of our faith.
