Title: 'Joy'

JOY

My Joy
  is like

playful dolphin
leaping through the air

from out the calm blue sea;
boisterous with goodwill
eager to share
and spraying
buckets of happiness
everywhere.

Title: 'Practice Random Acts Of Kindness'

Proverbs 11:17

A man who is kind benefits himself,
but a cruel man hurts himself.
 -----------------------

'Practice Random Acts of Kindness'
1.
Almost as good
as planting cheques in banks
Send someone
a hand written note of thanks.

2.
For kindness knows
no particular hour or season
Make cards at home to send
your friends for no reason

3.
   It might help
to keep one out of danger
If you buy a lottery ticket
for a stranger

4.
Warm up someone's heart
like a collagen heater
Put some coins in someone else’s
parking meter

5.
Show compassion
to some other fella
Buy coffee for your high street
'Big Issue' seller

6.
If Love thy neighbour is
what you pledge
Then ask to cut
your neighbour’s hedge

7.
How about you walk
your good friend’s dog.
Its possible whilst having a jog

8.
You might just be the cause
for promoting her
Give a compliment about your waitress
to her manager.

   9.
Send someone
a small gift anonymously.
To spread joy around
contagiously

10.
On the road, when travelling
find someone to inspire
    Stop and help someone
replace their flat tyre.

11.
Independently of position or rank
    Kindly let someone
jump the queue at the bank.

12.
Bring a loving touch
to someone's day
    Pay for the drinks
on the next table at a café.

13.
Spending money on another
is no act of treason
You could treat a friend to the cinema
for absolutely no reason.

14.
Almost everyone
could do with a treat
Give a huge tip to someone
who least expects it.

15.
As you would probably do
for your next of kin
    Hold the train door open
for someone rushing to get in.

16.
To show gratitude
for the humble and meek
    Write notes of appreciation
at least once a week.

    17.
Talk to a homeless person
and have a “normal” conversation
Find out what
they like to do for recreation.

18.
Being in a hurry
is no excuse for not trying
Pick up some rubbish, from the road
that would otherwise. stay lying

19.
Acknowledge all souls
for  their magnificence
    Compliment a work colleague
for their excellence.

20.
Never on economic status
alone be reliant
    Recommend a competitor
to a potential client.

21.
If someone's in a hurry
in the parking lot
    Give another driver
your parking spot.

22.
A most useful act
without a doubt
Is to help an elderly neighbour
carry the rubbish out

23.
Whether it be am or pm
    Tell all your family members
how much
you appreciate them.

24.
Leave a copy of
an interesting magazine
on a train
Or a spare umbrella for the rain

25.
   Buy an inspirational book
for a friend
Such simple things
can make a broken heart mend.

26.
 Even though some friendships
never last
Send a thank you note, to someone
who helped you in the past.

 27.
What goes around
is sure to come around
So smile a lot.
And, if it seems too hard
simply ask yourself...'why not?!'

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Title: 'Unlocking What Happened '

    Title: 'What Happened' Prayer-Art by Rev.Bola A.(14.7.11)

*UNLOCKING WHAT HAPPENED*
---------------
Where did you learn to,
Ignore your own feelings?
Who taught you how to,
Put yourself down?
Where did you learn to,
Be pressured and hurried?
When did you first know, how to frown?
Who taught you how to,
Be anxious and worried?
Or, not to behave like a clown?
*Who taught you, not to be heard?
Who made you, second or third?
Who told you, not to be seen?
How did you learn, to be mean?
*Who trained you, not to aspire?
Where d' you learn not, to aim higher?
Who taught you how, not to grow?
Where did you learn, to say no?
*Who taught your heart, not to care?
Where d'you first know, about shame?
Who trained your soul not too share?
Who taught your mind, how to blame?
How did you learn how to fear?
Who trained your soul not to dare?
*Who taught you, not to conceive?
Who trained you, not to believe?
When did you learn, not to beam?
Who taught your soul, not to dream?
*Who taught you how--
Not to shine, all your light?
When d' you first learn--
Not to trust your insight?
Where did you learn to
Ignore your own feelings?
Where did you learn how to spite?
Who taught you how to--
Put yourself down?
When did you first learn how to frown?
Where did you learn to--
Be pressured and hurried?
Who taught you, how to--
Be anxious and worried?
Or, not to behave like a clown?
*How did you know, how to fail?
When were you taught, not to trust?
Who locked your heart in a jail?

Then broke it.... yes, who was the first?
