Title: *I WRITE*

Title: *PEACE* /Mm - Visual Prayer Art from Set by Rev.Bola

Hard cliff,
Shallow cave.
This low, open lantern fades.
Dull cave, dry doorway.
The damp root living;
It is the empty hunter.
Lingering,
I write.

Title: 'Autumn of Haikus'

Title:*DELIGHT* - Orb of Light 10/Mm - Visual Prayer Art by Rev.Bola

  *AUTUMN OF HAIKUS*

With the smell
of new-cut grass
wafting in from outside,
waiting alone in the great,
oak-paneled library,
the terrified Violetta thought
once more of Doctor Ken,
the man who had
taught her how to feel.
He was now,
according to Countess Genevieve,
a prisoner in the very castle
he had once owned.

Then came the thud of fists,
a muffled cry,
fighting on the stairway,
and she dropped the
brimming wine glass
heedlessly on the rug.
He was here!
“Our love will outlast eternity,
my angel — my porcelain angel!”
 he boomed, oblivious of
the lava-red eyes at the window,
and as the truth — the whole truth
slowly came home to her,
she wordlessly let her body
melt against his own.

A mother and child
Hear the movements of the earth,
Twilight is ending.

Eagles fly above
Weeping in forgotten lands,
An old day is gone.

The lucky youths play
As hopeful souls recline.
With swing on solid oak
Beneath the rooted grass,
Where tender sparrows furrow
Nesting pools of delight.

And waiting old women

  Feeling the warmth
of the sunlight,
Unseen by others.

''While the earth remains,
seed time and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,

Title: *MAYBE*

Title:*DELIGHT*Orb of Light 12/Mm - Visual Prayer Art by Rev.Bola

Title: *MAYBE*

Maybe,
If I smile once more
Maybe,
Knock on heaven's door
Maybe,
If I start to pray
Maybe,
Then I'd find a way

Surely,
Will I lose my fears
Surely,
When I say my prayers
Surely,
When the light appears
Surely,
Will I wipe my tears.

It's good,
If I can sing a song
It's better,
If I dance along
It's best,
If I continue strong
Yes, that's the way

I'll carry on.

James 1:12

'Blessed is the man who
remains steadfast under trial,
for when he has stood the test
he will receive the crown of life,
which God has promised
to those who love him.'

Title:*COMPASSION*

Title:*COMPASSION*Orb of Light 14b/Mm - Visual Prayer Art from Set by Rev.Bola
Title:* Compassion*

Compassion,
Must become our fashion.
Meditating upon it
Night and morning,
No matter what the
Circumstance we're born in.

We can do it whilst
Checking through email
Letting our warmth
And kindness prevail.

Thinking of compassion
As we interact with others,
Having empathy for our dear
Sisters and brothers.

Reflecting,
Much on compassion
Through the day and night.
So that our hourly actions
May mirror Christ's light.

And so this will become
Our greater portion in life
Loving compassion,
A steadfast weapon
Against strife.

Title:*LET GO AND LET GOD*

Title:*LET GO AND LET GOD* /Mm - Visual Prayer Art from Set by Rev.Bola
Title: Where are you God?

Dear God,
I'm not entirely certain
Of what I'm doing wrong
But one thing I know for sure
Living without you is no fun.

You've so dearly, entrusted me
With this, extra-ordinary life
But, I'm finding it nearly impossible
To live it free of strife.

There are so many people Lord
I really want to bless
If you could just deliver me
From this sinful mess.

I wish to be obedient,
To be transparent and sincere
My spirit needs divine support
If you have some now to spare

I want to fulfil your calling
I want to do the job
Please assist me to unburden
From all my unrequited love.

I know I've made mistakes
Of which I do repent
Past sins that come to haunt me
And cause me discontent.

I pray please come and help me
I've nowhere else to turn
Only you alone can save me,
So, into your arms I run.

Please bring supportive people
Who want to do your will
Who are fearless for salvation
Who won't the vision kill.

Lord, I really want to illustrate
All that the Bible says
Lend solutions to my circumstance
Swift answers to my prayers.

Psalm 34:17-20

When the righteous cry for help,
the Lord hears and delivers them
out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the broken-hearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
He keeps all his bones;
not one of them is broken.

John 1:5

'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.'

Title: 'Orb of Crysta-L-ight'
 --------------------
Emblem of royal power
For every beloved hour
Made of precious metal
Gentle like a petal
A resounding royal cheer
With jewels, oh so rare
Consisting of a sphere
Surmounted by a cross.
Symbol of our cosmos,
The universal whole
For every human soul.

Title:'High Expectation'

Romans 12:12

'High Expectation'

Nothing is ever all bad
Even when things appear sad.
No matter what goes wrong
We can always remain strong.
Seeing the good in a bad situation
Can lead to a new appreciation
If we can but sit for a while
Rather than become hostile
A solution will miraculously unfold
As if spinning straw into gold.

Title: 'SPIRITUAL INTEGRATION' - Version 2

Title: 'SPIRITUAL INTEGRATION'/Acryl - Visual Poetry by Rev.Bola A.

'Spiritual Integration'

Like too many stop signs
In meeting deadlines,
Though challenging at times.
We need the multitude
Of rich environments.
And the fortitude
Of such experiences,
That various cultures can provide.

Thus, in charitable contribution
Towards human evolution
We are enriched,
And not bewitched
By having quite a mix
Of experiences we can endorse,
 Made available to us.

Without this diversity
We would have perversity
Of lifestyle
Even for awhile,
 Our choices would be limited.
This could suppress our evolution,
Like religious persecution.

It has now become integral
To our human constitution,
That people make a contribution.
 And be allowed to choose
Without abuse,
Their own lifestyle.
Instead of having one
Imposed on them from without
For such acts are futile.

Limiting this freedom,
Has caused great misery
Throughout human history.
Mankind must now begin
To live in harmony
With one another.

Ceasing to indulge in misery
We can appreciate diversity.
Instead of running out of rope,
We can manifest great hope
For a better world,
Where everyone can cope.

Revelation 7:9

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands
