'Strange Characters'

This character had a face
Lined with experience
God in His mercy gave him Grace
His joy was convenient.
His role models were hairdressers
Whom he sent
Many long love letters
All were brought up in style
But complained all the while
Of what their parents couldn't afford.
They were utterly absurd
He soon worked in an office
Doing little for profit.
Had a secretive nature
Which was not his best feature.
Later he married in haste
To a person of taste.
Now they both haunt the corridors
Of the government offices.
Returning to sweep the floors.
