Title: 'Lessons in Life'

I'm learning to be strong
And I'm learning to speak out
And I'm learning to be assertive
Not shy, when I see things differently
And I'm learning not to hide away
And I'm learning not to disappear
And I'm learning
(though it sometimes really hurts me)
Not to
withdraw completely
And I'm learning to reach out
When I have something to share
And I'm learning that it's much
Much easier to be crystal clear.

Title: 'Sailing Through' - Poetry and Art

Title: 'SAILING THROUGH' /Mix - (From Set) by Rev.Bola
Masts fall, like clear mainlands
Life, death, adventure
Travel grandly, like a mystery pirate.

Fall calmly, like a clear gull
O, endurance!
Sail swiftly, like a misty wind.

The seashell rises, like a cold moon
But where is, the lively whale?
From where is, the big breeze?

Desolation, death, adventure
Why does, the storm endure?
How does, the ship sail?
Life, faith, courage.

Clouds drift!
The cool moon, swiftly pulls to shore
Love, faith and courage
A sandy island in view!

Title: 'Weeping Memories' - Poetry and Art

Title: 'WEEPING MEMORIES' /Oils (From Set) - by Rev.Bola
'Weeping Memories'

With the dying of time poets echo,
In the streets of discord memories breathe,
Under the cover of the mind the soul doth speak,
In the stillness of harmony where memories weep.

In the moonless dark, the old ones seek,
Dis- establishment of guilt to defend the weak
Yet nought, was so valuable, throughout
As the cool-aid stains, which never came out
Or the hope, they could somehow, hide their doubt

Of green paper things, they've had their fill
My pocket and yours, adds much to the till
We like it or not, must contribute our share
To shaking that snow, right out of our hair

Like the object, of any desire
Let the acrid smoke inspire
Unlike the knife, that loves to cut
It won't make a puncture, in your gut

This web-like lust, would be no crime
Were it, but a mote, in the eye of time
Like Latin, is language, but passed away
With magic, the words,  all gone astray
Where to, for what, to find one day

Whether Wallet, Mallet, Mallard,
Or Walloon, Balloon, Bollard?
Life's ghastly problems, can be stubborn and hard
As the tide of time, flows relentlessly onward

Bronze face reveals little, of  the one within
Who sits alone with, green recycle bin
Quietly brewing, an escape from sin
Mouth wide open, singing and sipping
As notes hit the ceiling, bloody and dripping

'With the dying of time,  poets echo,
In the streets of discord, memories breathe,
Under the cover of the mind, the soul doth speak,
In the stillness of harmony, memories weep.'

Title: 'THE MASK' - Poem by Rev.Bola

Title: 'THE MASK' /C.Penc - Prayer Art (From Set) by Rev.Bola
'THE MASK'
A cover as of cloth ablaze
Openings for the eyes wild gaze
Partly conceals the face at night
Especially like a switch alight
Facial imprint worn on head
A figure mount of stained bloodshed
Actors in custom and ritual array
Identifying their fleur bouquet.

Behold thy protective masking coup
Faceless head' a challis droop
Framed to form a watertight vault
Eyes and nose a touch occult
Transparent like some future quest
Or underhand device at best
Oxygen intake like new born bride
The nose and mouth so snug inside.

Title: 'Welcome Matrix' - Short Poem

Using the quickest route
A well guarded secret
Fearlessly leaning,
And melting,
Into relaxed royal flames

Topped with strawberry syrup ..
Always pink, but soft,.
Never angry,
She bubbles free.
Hungry, dismal, laughing. ,
Crazy or reclining
She sits still in silence
Welcoming the Matrix.

Title: 'BLOOMING' - Poem by Rev.Bola

In Blossomous Blooming...

Your equalizing love
my electrifying heart
Our enlightened
hopes and wills, torrid

In Blossomous Blooming...

Your human rose
my heated future
Our bare raging desires
and dreams

In Blossomous Blooming...

Your will, luminescent,
my longing, lust-filled
Our desires,
like strawberries
hastened towards
Their perfected ripening.

'Pledge for IFAW'

IFAW,
Bringing care and
hope to all animals
around the world
protecting
abandoned and abused
cats and dogs,
orphaned baby bears
elephants, seals and tigers.
Innocent animals
in desperate need
all over this world
Stepping forward
making our earth
a better place for animals.

Five baby elephants
Sikom, Tikla, Tinku
Seperated from their families.
Soni and Harem attacked
by angry villagers for
wandering into nearby crop fields.
Nursed back to health and
perchance to return home
to the wild.
Happy now roaming free
In protected Manas National Park
and Harem,
now with wild herd family.

Seven tiny bear cubs,
mothers killed by hunters
and left to starve
to death
in sever winter snow
helped and saved with
feeding bottles of milk
around the clock,
at IFAW
More protection for
elephants, lions,
zebras and giraffes
In Kenya's Tsavo National Park.

Wolves returning
to their original habitats
whales migrating
across the oceans.
dogs and cats receiving
lifesaving medical care
IFAW free clinics
and rescue centres
where every life is precious.
Thanks to you....
IFAW
Deeply appreciates your helping.

Title: 'Higher Power' - Poem by Rev.Bola

Higher Power
I will make you proud
or at least I will try
For this is awesome love
That sense of your light with mine
Standing in the wings of your affection
I cannot bare to be away from you
I close my eyes and your image plays in my mind,

a treasured memory
Your voice sings to me like that of an angel

I'll always love you.
Until the end of time
I'm no longer frightened of my ego
Gently playing upon
Emotions deep, passions fired
I hold on tight to you
Whom I cherish
This feels so right to me
I wish to touch your grace
I catch my breath at the sight of your loveliness
Looking through me
You teach me to master my greatness.

'Today God'

Dear God
Today, please help me
to see what I cannot see
to hear what I cannot hear
to feel what I cannot feel.
to bear what I cannot bear
to say what I cannot say

to imagine what I cannot imagine
to pray what I cannot pray

Please help me God
to sense what I cannot sense
to appreciate what I cannot appreciate
to give what I cannot give
to release what I cannot release
to believe what I cannot believe
to reap what I cannot reap.
to dream what I cannot dream
to keep what I cannot keep, and

to reverse what I cannot reverse.

Title: 'Joy'

JOY

My Joy
  is like

playful dolphin
leaping through the air

from out the calm blue sea;
boisterous with goodwill
eager to share
and spraying
buckets of happiness
everywhere.

Title: 'Practice Random Acts Of Kindness'

Proverbs 11:17

A man who is kind benefits himself,
but a cruel man hurts himself.
 -----------------------

'Practice Random Acts of Kindness'
1.
Almost as good
as planting cheques in banks
Send someone
a hand written note of thanks.

2.
For kindness knows
no particular hour or season
Make cards at home to send
your friends for no reason

3.
   It might help
to keep one out of danger
If you buy a lottery ticket
for a stranger

4.
Warm up someone's heart
like a collagen heater
Put some coins in someone else’s
parking meter

5.
Show compassion
to some other fella
Buy coffee for your high street
'Big Issue' seller

6.
If Love thy neighbour is
what you pledge
Then ask to cut
your neighbour’s hedge

7.
How about you walk
your good friend’s dog.
Its possible whilst having a jog

8.
You might just be the cause
for promoting her
Give a compliment about your waitress
to her manager.

   9.
Send someone
a small gift anonymously.
To spread joy around
contagiously

10.
On the road, when travelling
find someone to inspire
    Stop and help someone
replace their flat tyre.

11.
Independently of position or rank
    Kindly let someone
jump the queue at the bank.

12.
Bring a loving touch
to someone's day
    Pay for the drinks
on the next table at a café.

13.
Spending money on another
is no act of treason
You could treat a friend to the cinema
for absolutely no reason.

14.
Almost everyone
could do with a treat
Give a huge tip to someone
who least expects it.

15.
As you would probably do
for your next of kin
    Hold the train door open
for someone rushing to get in.

16.
To show gratitude
for the humble and meek
    Write notes of appreciation
at least once a week.

    17.
Talk to a homeless person
and have a “normal” conversation
Find out what
they like to do for recreation.

18.
Being in a hurry
is no excuse for not trying
Pick up some rubbish, from the road
that would otherwise. stay lying

19.
Acknowledge all souls
for  their magnificence
    Compliment a work colleague
for their excellence.

20.
Never on economic status
alone be reliant
    Recommend a competitor
to a potential client.

21.
If someone's in a hurry
in the parking lot
    Give another driver
your parking spot.

22.
A most useful act
without a doubt
Is to help an elderly neighbour
carry the rubbish out

23.
Whether it be am or pm
    Tell all your family members
how much
you appreciate them.

24.
Leave a copy of
an interesting magazine
on a train
Or a spare umbrella for the rain

25.
   Buy an inspirational book
for a friend
Such simple things
can make a broken heart mend.

26.
 Even though some friendships
never last
Send a thank you note, to someone
who helped you in the past.

 27.
What goes around
is sure to come around
So smile a lot.
And, if it seems too hard
simply ask yourself...'why not?!'

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Title: 'Unlocking What Happened '

    Title: 'What Happened' Prayer-Art by Rev.Bola A.(14.7.11)

*UNLOCKING WHAT HAPPENED*
---------------
Where did you learn to,
Ignore your own feelings?
Who taught you how to,
Put yourself down?
Where did you learn to,
Be pressured and hurried?
When did you first know, how to frown?
Who taught you how to,
Be anxious and worried?
Or, not to behave like a clown?
*Who taught you, not to be heard?
Who made you, second or third?
Who told you, not to be seen?
How did you learn, to be mean?
*Who trained you, not to aspire?
Where d' you learn not, to aim higher?
Who taught you how, not to grow?
Where did you learn, to say no?
*Who taught your heart, not to care?
Where d'you first know, about shame?
Who trained your soul not too share?
Who taught your mind, how to blame?
How did you learn how to fear?
Who trained your soul not to dare?
*Who taught you, not to conceive?
Who trained you, not to believe?
When did you learn, not to beam?
Who taught your soul, not to dream?
*Who taught you how--
Not to shine, all your light?
When d' you first learn--
Not to trust your insight?
Where did you learn to
Ignore your own feelings?
Where did you learn how to spite?
Who taught you how to--
Put yourself down?
When did you first learn how to frown?
Where did you learn to--
Be pressured and hurried?
Who taught you, how to--
Be anxious and worried?
Or, not to behave like a clown?
*How did you know, how to fail?
When were you taught, not to trust?
Who locked your heart in a jail?

Then broke it.... yes, who was the first?

'For D - Light'

Title: 'D-Light' Prayer Art by Rev.Bola(Jun11)

Wildly, she goes waltzing again
Into those warmed ideas
Crested, while they laugh
Heartily, as dancing tree trunks

Loudly, the nannygoats of the same
Gloat feverishly in praise of the skylark
Waiting while they wade
Swiftly, into the green-leaved silence.

'Swept Away'

Stained glass angels,
Thrashing in the throes of death unchained.
For lo, the net has withered and waned
Prison bare,
The canine's upper lip did curl asunder.
As they watch their lives being carved out
In the firmament they flounder.
Lo it never ends, that nightmare sound
They've grown so weary, to perchance around,
Those dreams, south of the border.
For things are not always what they appear.
Like nocturnal essences... ebony... sepia
And good woodshed brown.
In fabled garb of occidental renown
The african bee, grasps warmth
Perched atop integrated tree.
For it too can soar, as the sun will rise
Feel the flagrant ouvre of gentle gardens,
With outstretched wings and eyes
Of angels, their hands from above,
Reaching down, through purpled skies.

'Let It Be Gone'

I am emanating a picture of you
that requires your support.
I am holding an exact
and precise image of you.
The picture you bear of yourself
Is not heretofore correct.
You have perchance
harkened excessively
comfortably, to the yesteryear,
and your beliefs thereof.
Other people stereotyped
their opinions onto you.
people who didn't
think tolerantly about themselves,
indeed how could they think
to an adequate degree about you?

I don't come
accompanied with baggage.
I see with crystallize sight,
I picture you without all the frivolity
& braggadocio of the human race.
Whether I search with a simple microscope
or a telescope,
I ascertain the fitness & wholeness
of My stunning offspring.
I view you,
and I discover a soaring thrust of joy.
I inquire in to you, as a mirror,
which personifies
The unclouded reflection that I confer.

You have perhaps embodied
checking in to a weakened mirror,
& you bear a defaced look-alike.
Unless you acknowledge yourself
in your whole resplendence,
you will have embodied
checking into a spoilt mirror.
The weakened crinkles in that mirror
you ascribe to yourself,
you accept them as gospel truth.
You trust in unsound labels about you.
You then choose deficiency
instead of abundance.
and calculate out of defect
rather than fact.
You have been blind-sided.
You have assumed yourself
as some discredited commodity,
and that is the way
in which you comport yourself.

That is sufficient cause, to relinquish the past,
because your picture from it is contorted.
Something might, have been the issue then,
even so, it wasn't with you.
It merely have got laid on your shoulders,
and you accepted it.

Are errors created in the world?
They most surely are, but, all the same,
you are never an error.
For that, is the heftiest error of all,
To belittle yourself because of
other people's defective sight.
You have been donning
another person's spectacles.
You are not tarnished goods.
Someone deposited a price-tag on you,
a lowly tag, that had zilch
to do with the realness of you.
You bought their judgment.
I ask you to reclaim the tag
with the great value I place on you.
No more trading yourself short.

Whilst a youngster,
you accepted everything at face value.
Now, you need to personify
being a child again,
to accept what I state at full value.
I pronounce you as
My fabulous conception.
I do not speak to your self-importance.
Why would I do that?
I am speaking to the truth of you.
I am requiring you to cast away
whatever faults that have tended you,
which you swallowed without checking.
Those faults are obsolete.
They were never actual.
They were fake.
You are trully of My beingness.
You are on the Earth.
Yet Earth is pregnant, with much ambiguity
And, you are but a virtuous soul
guesting, from Heaven.
You have merely assumed
the worldly manner of thinking.
Pull out from under it,
Re-establish yourself Heaven's way.
Take on the worth that I confer on you.
You are sparkling stardust
I always pronounce you as Mine,
I see, You are pure diamond to the core.

You, who have been denigrated,
and have slaundered yourself.
Whatsoever you have caused historically,
Whatever has been served to you in the past
it is now over & terminated.
I say, Let it be gone!
You are the pulse, of My essence.
You are My heartthrob and I respect you,
I ask you, to respect yourself.
I ask you, to respect everybody as is.
I encourage you to search for Me
in every single place.
Seek Me everywhere
and you will discover Me anywhere
What may you find
when you look for Me?
That, I am always the right mirror
For you to check in
Look deep into My eyes & view yourself.
In the vindicated mirror,
I hold up for you.
