Title: *Proverbial Factors - Set 2*

Title: *Proverbial Factors - Set 2*
Life's journey bursts
With many a flavor
A calm sea does not
Make a skilled sailor.

A broken friendship
May be soldered
But will never be sound.
Don't get caught
Out sneaking around.

Fasten your seat belt
A burden of
One's own choice
Is not felt.

Even where there is
A passionate desire
A burnt child
Dreads the fire.

Be it doctor, lawyer,
Soldier or tailor
A calm sea does not
Make a skilled sailor

A person shows
Their competence when
difficulties arise
Which can often lead
To a pleasant surprise

Families need trust
To stay in sync
A chain is no stronger
Than its weakest link.

Even when operating
At one's very best
A change is as
Good as a rest.

A rule of thumb
A constant guest
is never welcome.

A danger foreseen
Is half avoided
Thus, a pessimist
Is never disappointed

Whether to give
Pleasure or annoy,
A day of sorrow is longer
Than a month of joy.

A drop of ink
May make a million think.
Emotions could be rendered
Blue or tickled pink.
